I flew in from Colorado and was driven straight from the airport to the 80th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade to host it for Diversity News TV. Montel Williams, Marie Osmond, Joan Van Ark, Erik Estrada and many others were in attendance. It was a really fun night, and great to see some of my entertainment friends!
I am so sad Jeff Conaway passed away from a drug overdose. What a terrible loss to us all. I pray that he finds peace and knows that he was and is dearly loved. This photo of us was taken in November, just 7 months before his passing.

Fawn....It is so important to adopt and not shop because of the horrible treatment that puppies get in puppy mills, which stores purchase from. Many of the store bought animals are sickly and unfotunately have early deaths which is also heart wrenching for the people loving their companion.

The other reason to adopt is that there are millions of homeless animals, many who are puppies and the exact breed of dog people are looking for. When a person goes to a breeder or a store to purchase a gog, rabbit or cat, they are being part of the problem.
Going to a shelter or a rescue to adopt is being part of the solution and we can make this world a better place by changing something as simple as adopting from a shelter or rescue, instead of buying from a pet store or breeder.
All of my animals were rescued from the streets, rescues or shelters. I have noticed something very special about rescue animals...they are completely grateful for having been saved. But I always say, I didn't rescue my animals, the rescued me!
