A Few Career Highlights of 2010.....

The Power of Facebook and Giving From The Heart

When I traveled to Colorado for Christmas this year, I had no idea what was going to happen while I was gone. WIth in 3 hours of leaving Los Angeles, my rescue dog Lollie was in a dog fight and needed to have surgery. Looking at my finances, I wondered how this was going to be possible, so I reached out to my Facebook friends on my Fawn Composer personal page, my Fawn RecordingArtist personal page and my Fawnmusic fan page. With in 12 hours all of the money was needed to get Lollie her surgery! I am forever grateful to every one who made her surgery possible and for the healing thoughts and prayers. I am also grateful to Daisy, Terresa and Mirim for taking such good care of my rescue animals when I have to travel. And to Kris Kelly for her countless hours of advice, referrals and support. Below you will see photos of Lollie before, after and then, just a few days after her surgery, a happy, smiling girl back in her momma's arms :o) THANK YOU to Lollie's Miracle Angels! You make me have hope in this world and inspire me to be a better person! I promise to pay it forward. What a wonderful way to end the old year and start the new!

THINK. What impact are you making in the world today? Are you making a lasting impression on people towards a higher good or are you bringing people down or merely existing? We have NO IDEA how long our life is going to last. MAKE IT COUNT. And I'm talking EVERY MOMENT ♥

This is such a beautiful song. I wish I had written it. Listen to this story and remember what Christmas is really about. Written by Eddie Carswell and Leonard Ahlstrom and sung by Bob Carlisle.
